BIRCHALL, Adam Born In Maidstone (England) On 02/12/1984  Wales Player Initially signed for Barnet on a months loan from (then) fellow League Two side, Mansfield Town in November 2006. Adam impressed greatly in his loan spell, his most notable display coming in the 4-1 hammering of League One Northampton Town in the FA Cup 2nd Round at Underhill. His move was made permanent on January 1st 2007. The 2007/08 was Adams best at Barnet, where he notched an impressive 15 goals. The best of the bunch and indeed the best moment of his time at Barnet is easy to pinpoint. Saturday 5th January 2008, FA Cup Third Round. Barnet are trailing 1-0 away to Swindon Town with just four minutes of normal time on the clock. Birch gets the ball just outside the area and curls in one of the most delightful goals you will ever see as a Barnet fan, to make it 1-1 and force a replay (which we won). Sadly Birchall couldnt follow up his strong 2007/08 campaign with another good one in 2008/09, scoring just three in all competitions, he just didnt look the same player and was released by Ian Hendon at the end of the season. He has since signed for ex-Barnet man Andy Hessenthaler, at Dover Athletic.
