ADOMAH, Albert Born In Lambeth On 13/12/1987  England Player Albert! Albert! Albert! Albert! Albert! Albert! Albert! Albert! Albert! OK with that out of the way, Albert Adomah is pretty special on the wing. Ever since he started his first game and Hereford and put in one of the finest debut performances in living memory, where the above chant was coined. Leaning over that barrier shouting those words directly at the man were a right old laugh, and you could see he appreciated it. In fact it's that which endears him to the crowd as well. Albert is a very down to earth chap without the delusions of grandeur that could have come with interest from higher division clubs. It is something that has happened to Bees players in the past, but not Albert. He regularly has defenders shitting themselves when he gets a bit of space to stretch his legs and run at them. We hadn't seen such an exciting young talent at Underhill for a long time. Especially one that was plucked from park football not long before gracing the Football League. This whirlwind journey came via Harrow Borough, where he was managed by former Barnet man Dave Howell. Higher league interest remains and it seems inevitable that Albert will eventually go.
