DEVERA, Joe Born In Southgate On 06/12/1987  England Joined On 22/11/2005 Player Joe Devera was one of the first graduates from the PROTEC Youth System in 2006. He made an impressive start in a 2-0 win at Cardiff City early on in the 2006/2007 season but only made the right back spot a regular place the following year. Strong performances there and indeed in the centre back position when required secured Devera the BFCSA Player Of The Year award. Devera was again a mainstay in the XI during the 2008/2009 season. With the form of the side severely lacking, Devera's opportunities to shine further were limited, however he remains a very useful member of the squad with his ability to play both on the right and in the middle.
