PERSON STATS

  HOGG, Lewis
Born In Bristol On 13/09/1982  England
Player

West Country lad who Martin Allen brought to the club on a short-term deal in August 2003.

Lewis quickly won the Barnet fans over with a number of fine displays in the centre of midfield. It didnt take him long to get his name regularly in the first eleven during his time at the Bees. He only played sixteen games for the Bees, scoring once, but did enough in his brief spell to get himself an England Non-League call up by Paul Fairclough.

The reasons why Hogg left so soon after arriving were never really explained, but it would appear he favoured a move back to his native West Country. As a result, Lewis left Barnet in December 2003, signing for Weston-super-Mare shortly afterwards. After a successful spell there, he moved to Bath City for £4,000, where he has become a key player for the Twerton Park side.
