AGOGO,

Player
Junior (real name Manuel) was signed for Barnet by Peter Shreeves in 2002. The two had previously worked together at Sheffield Wednesday, before Junior had left the Owls for a spell in America.
Agogo was only with the Bees for one season, but it was certainly one of note as the Ghanaian striker notched twenty goals. However, he was part of one of the weakest Barnet sides in recent times, as we finished in 11th place in the Conference. Junior decided he could do better than us and he wasnt wrong.
He left the club roughly a year after joining, moving to Bristol Rovers for £110,000 + Giuliano Grazioli. Not the worst deal Barnet FC have ever done. Since moving to the Gas, Agogo has gone on to play for Nottingham Forest, Zamalek (Egypt) and Limassol (Cyprus). In 2006 he won his first cap for Ghana and has been a regular in their national team since.
