LEE,
Dwane
Born In Hillingdon (England) On

Player
Casual midfielder who wasnt always the most popular at Underhill, but was a regular in the title winning side of 2005.
Dwane joined Barnet from Exeter City in July 2004. He quickly built a good partnership in midfield with Dean Sinclair and certainly played a part in Barnets promotion charge, although many fans considered him to be too lazy. Those of us who were more fond of Dwane preferred to see him as just a generally chilled out bloke, but a good player. He couldnt half pick out a pass.
It all ended a bit sourly for Dwane. Hed actually had a very good first half of the 2005/06 season with Barnet in League Two, but was frozen out and released before the season was over. A training ground bust-up with Nicky Bailey in January 2006 saw Dwane come off the worst in terms of the re-percussions and he was shown the door, eventually.
Since Barnet, hes drifted about the non-league game, his CV includes Stevenage, Kidderminster, Maidenhead, AFC Wimbledon, Kettering Town and now Bromley. Cant help but think with the right attitude and application, he could have got himself back to at least the top end of the BSP...
