PERSON STATS

  HENRY, Solomon

Player

Winger who signed for Barnet from the PROTEC academy along with a number of others in July 2003.

Solomon looked a lively prospect initially and was involved in the first teams pre-season quite heavily. However, he struggled to break into the first team, having to wait until the LDV Vans Trophy for his chance. He scored a penalty on his debut in the said competition in the thrilling 3-3 draw with Brentford in October 2003. Although impressing that night, he didnt do enough to really force his way into the reckoning and was generally limited from then on to just Herts Senior Cup games for the first team, where he managed to score a few goals. He had a cracking shot on him.

Though he looked promising from the glimpses wed seen, it was decided he wasnt up to it and he was released at the end of the 2003/04 season. He has since played for a number of non-league clubs in the North London and Herts area, such as Harrow and Cheshunt.
