LOCKWOOD,
Matt
Born In Rochford On
17/10/1976
England
Player
Classy left sided played Matt joined Barnet on loan from League One Colchester shortly after Ian Hendons appointment in early 2009.
He quickly slotted into the side, offering experience and genuine quality in a struggling side. Matt was with Barnet until mid-April, before returning to the Essex side. During his stay it was clear hed lost none of the quality which made him such a hero at Leyton Orient for almost a decade prior to spells and Nottingham Forest and latterly, Colchester.
After returning to The Us, Lockwood has still struggled to cement a first team place, although has featured in some of the early games under new Colchester boss, Aidy Boothroyd.
