PERSON STATS

  BELL, Leon
Born In Hitchin On 19/12/1980  England
Player

In fact, no longer Leon Bell, he is now known as Leon Lalite. The reasons for this are unknown to this writer, anyone with any information, please get in touch.

Anyway, Leon was a tough tackling, small centre midfielder who joined Barnet after being rejected by Arsenal as a youngster in the late 90s. Leon made his first team debut during the 1999/00 season, but did not establish himself in the team until the 2001/02 season in the Nationwide Conference. For the first two seasons he was a regular in the side, before being allowed to leave the Bees for Stevenage Borough during the 2002/03 season.

His spell at Stevenage was short and he was soon released. He had a spell with Waltham Forest, before signing for Harlow Town in December 2003. Whilst a step down, this proved to offer some stability for Leon, he remained with Harlow until the summer of 2009, when he was given another chance to play higher up the pyramid, signing for Blue Square South side Thurrock.
