CHARLERY, Ken Born On 28/11/1964  St. Lucia Player IF SHE DONT COME ILL TICKLE HER BUM WITH A KENNY CHARLERY! CHARLERY! CHARLERY! If you dont know the song, that will probably appear just very weird. Dont worry. King Kenny played up front for the Bees in the latter stages of his lengthy career. He made 124 appearances after his arrival from Southend United in 1998, before leaving the club for then Conference side Boston United in the early stages of the 2001/02 season. Not the most prolific of Barnet strikers, but always a handful for opponents and chipped in with his fair share of memorable goals, such as a late winner at Chesterfield in September 2000, not long before he left the club. He played for several years after leaving Barnet, but never again in the Football League, before hanging up his boots in 2005 after a season at Harrow Borough. Since his retirement he has been largely involved there as assistant manager and also had a brief spell on the coaching staff at a club where he is considered a true legend, Peterborough United. In the summer of 2011 he moved to St Albans City as assistant manager, along with fellow ex-Bee David Howell who took their managerial position.
