DENNEHY, Darren Born In Kerry On 21/09/1988  Ireland Joined On 12/07/2010 Player Big centre back Darren joined Barnet in July 2010, following his release from Cardiff City. Barnet beat off competition from Gillingham to sign the highly rated young defender, who had a spell at the Gills in 2009/10, when they were managed by Mark Stimson. He chose a move to Barnet over Kent and much is expected of him in the forthcoming season. Formerly with Everton, he has been capped eleven times by Republic of Ireland Under 21s.
